Clarence Valley Affordable Housing Strategy | The Clarence Valley Council Affordable Housing Strategy provides an opportunity for Council to respond to the increasing problem of the reduced amount of affordable housing. The Affordable Housing Strategy is an important management tool to provide useful input into Council wide management plans and other plans such as the Economic Development Strategic Plan and the Local Environmental Plan. Council has an important role to play in housing provision, and planning for better local housing, promoting a range of housing that is affordable to households of varying financial capacity, including an adequate supply of housing that is affordable for very low, low and moderate income households.
