| Delivery Program 2017-2021 | Reducing the impact of flooding Floods interrupt our lives. They disrupt our agricultural production, manufacturing and retailing economies. This leads to increased costs. Over time there is a need to look at minimising the impact of these floods. In the shorter term this will come more through building resilience than it will come through mitigation of floods. But there are a number of flood mitigation schemes that have been suggested in studies that would decrease the impact of flooding in Kempsey and other areas.
