For the past 35 years it has been a place for innovative and immersive community-based learning and action focused on all aspects of sustainable living. As well as providing education pathways for adults and children, CERES runs a fully functioning urban farm, organic food market, nursery and café. It is a significant community sustainability hub and demonstration site for Moreland and the wider community. CERES’ contribution has been recognised at the Premiers Sustainability Awards, winning the Education Category in 2017.
